He is currently the Director of Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery at Accord Superspeciality Hospital, Faridabad, India. Additionally, he serves as Adjunct Professor and Head of the Department of Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery at Govt. ESI Medical College, NIT-3, Faridabad, India.

Dr. Biju Sivam Pillai has comprehensive experience in managing adult, pediatric cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgery patients. Over the past four years, Dr. Bijju Pillari along with his team has successfully performed 1900 cardiac surgeries, including routine CABG, minimal access multi-vessel CABG, mitral valve repairs, MICS-Mitral/Aortic valve replacements, and aortic aneurysm surgeries. They are recognized as one of North India’s top Minimal Access Cardiac Surgery teams, with over 500 MICS procedures performed.

Dr. Biju Sivam Pillai team has also operated on over 300 children with congenital heart conditions, maintaining a 0% mortality rate in the last 300 congenital heart surgeries. The team specializes in complex vascular procedures, including TEVAR for abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoraco-abdominal, and pure thoracic aortic aneurysms. They routinely address peripheral arterial diseases through angioplasty and arterial bypass operations.

Dr. Biju Sivam Pillai is certified in LVAD and heart transplant procedures, having been part of North India’s largest transplant/VAD team at Max Saket. He is a member of INSHLT (Indian Society of Heart and Lung Transplant) and the Indian Association of Cardio Thoracic Surgeons.
