These include vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage and fenugreek leaves. Instead it is best to go for washed pungent vegetables such as bitter gourd, gourd and others.
Seafood like prawns and fish should be absolutely avoided during the monsoon season. This is mainly because of the pathogens and bacteria present in the water during the rainy season. This often infects the fishes and subsequently the person consuming the same. Another reason is that this is also the breeding season that may cause certain changes in the seafood causing harm to the person who consumes them.
Fried and spicy food
However irresistible those pakodas, kachoris and samosas may be, they are an absolute no no during the monsoon season.
